What to Bring
Checking In
All Turn Up and Play tickets and Bring Your Own Computer participants will need to bring the following in order to check-in:
- Your booking reference or printed ticket with barcode
- Photo ID such as a passport or drivers licence
- Parental consent forms if you’re under-16
If you are bring additional kit with you, such as a console or a TV, please let us know on reception when you arrive so that we can give you additional stickers for your equipment! If you don’t you will be stopped by security at the end of the event for trying to take items from the venue that are not security tagged!
Other essential Items
Some essential gear for anyone attending:
- A tent (if your camping)
- Sleeping bag with airbed/campbed etc
- Towel
- Wash kit
- Pillow
- Torch (for finding your tent in the dark!)
- Food + soft drinks (no alcohol, there is a bar on-site)
- Mobile phone charger
- Camera
Bring your own computer participants
If you’re coming as Bring Your Own Computer then you’re going to need to bring a few extra things with you to ensure you have all the kit necessary for the weekend to go smoothly. Check the list below for all the required items…
- Your PC or XBox (base unit / tower / shuttle )
- Monitor
- VGA / DVI cable for monitor
- Keyboard + Mouse
- Mouse mat
- Headphones (no speakers allowed!)
- Power cables for both your PC and monitor
- A four-way power strip
- All your games + CD Keys!
- Windows + antivirus reinstall CDs (just in case!)
Security
Don’t forget that you need to secure your equipment once you arrive. Whilst we will have some security equipment available for sale at the event, you should try and come prepared.
- Kensington locks or similar devices for securing your equipment to the desk
- Rucksack for taking small items back to your tent (keyboard, mouse etc)
- Case screws with locks – they work like normal screws but require a key to open
